Short answer: Netflix hasn't renewed Nobody Wants This for a fourth season. Not yet.

Season 3 dropped all 10 episodes on Thursday, 22 October, and by the weekend "season 4" was one of the top searches about the show. That makes sense, given how it ends.

How season 3 ends

Noah (Adam Brody) and Joanne (Kristen Bell) get married, in an intimate, spur-of-the-moment ceremony on the beach in Malibu, right after Joanne's mikveh, the ritual immersion that's part of her conversion to Judaism.

Meanwhile, Esther (Jackie Tohn), Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Morgan (Justine Lupe) have turned their strange three-way dynamic into something close to a full love triangle. That's the loose thread most likely to carry a season 4.

What Erin Foster says

The show's creator has been open about wanting to keep going. She told Parade there is "more story to tell", pointing to the next stage of the couple's life: getting married later, as people who aren't in their twenties, and feeling slightly behind everyone else. Foster, who based the show on her own relationship with her husband Simon Tikhman, said she was 37 when she got married.

She was also careful not to promise anything. She said she tries not to "get too attached to the outcome" and would rather end a show while people still want more than drag it out.

The show has been in the news this week for another reason too: Foster said publicly that she disagrees with Brody's "Free Palestine" comments, while adding that she loves him.

If it does come back

The show has arrived every autumn so far: season 1 in September 2024, season 2 in October 2025, season 3 this October. If Netflix renews it and the pattern holds, a fourth season would most likely land in late 2027. That's a guess, not a schedule.
