The crew is now relocating to Mumbai for a final 20-day shooting leg to conclude production.

UK Filming and Mumbai Finale

Samuk has been in development for over two years and commenced its rigorous UK schedule in late August. The international leg captured the bulk of the film's large-scale action sequences. The upcoming Mumbai schedule will cover the remaining 20 percent of the project to officially wrap filming.

Hollywood Expertise and Creature Design

To deliver a massive theatrical spectacle, the production enlisted Academy Award-nominated creature-effects designer Alec Gillis to design the film's central alien antagonist. Known for his pioneering work on the Alien and Predator franchises, Gillis brings major international expertise to the Indian sci-fi space. The filmmakers are reportedly utilizing a grounded visual style, heavily integrating practical creature effects with high-octane action set pieces.

A 13-Year Reunion

Samuk marks a significant reunion for Akshay Kumar and Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who are collaborating again after a 13-year hiatus. While the makers have assembled an eclectic cast from diverse acting backgrounds to drive the survival narrative, specific character details and core plot elements remain strictly guarded.
