When the Stars Align: Luke Kenny and the Bombay Rock Exchange Make Their Historic Goa Debut
For a state so deeply intertwined with India's live music culture, it comes as a genuine surprise that some legendary acts have never graced its stages. Despite decades of performing and shaping the national music scene, the Bombay Rock Exchange has never toured Goa—until now. As they say, sometimes the stars simply have to align. This November, the wait ends as the Bombay Rock Exchange embarks on a historic first-ever Goan tour, bringing their electrifying classic rock energy to the sunshine state.

At the very front of this high-voltage project stands Luke Kenny a name inextricably linked with India's modern pop-culture and rock revolution. While millions recognize him as the soulful keyboardist Rob Nancy from the 2008 cinematic phenomenon Rock On!! or the cold-blooded mercenary Malcolm from Netflix's Sacred Games, Kenny’s roots in live music run much deeper. Long before his on-screen triumphs, he revolutionized television as India’s first male VJ on Channel V in 1995, curating the musical tastes of an entire generation. A former DJ, dancer, and lifelong rock vocalist, Kenny brings a raw, theatrical energy to the microphone. He doesn't just sing classic rock; he interprets it, blending decades of stagecraft and storytelling into a masterclass of live performance.
Kenny is backed by an absolute powerhouse of musical talent. The legendary Ravi Iyer takes lead on guitar, delivering the soaring riffs and technical brilliance he has built his career on. Driving the rhythm section are Saket Rao on drums and Geet Gupta on bass, creating the airtight, thunderous foundation that classic rock demands.

The two-city tour guarantees that fans across the state get a piece of the action. The tour kicks off in North Goa on November 21 at Saltamontes in Anjuna, cementing its place as the first venue in Goan history to host the ensemble. The very next day, November 22, the band heads down to South Goa to bring the house down at Domingos Gazebo.
Curated with a "whole lotta love" by the Moving Arts Program, this tour promises to be a landmark event for Goa's live music calendar. Ticket bookings will be opening soon, giving fans the chance to secure their spot for an unforgettable night of music.
