What is The Big Break?

The Big Break is India’s first multi-platform, digital-native talent hunt searching for the next generation of actors, dancers, and singers. Conceived by Bollywood veterans Mukesh Chhabra and Bosco Martis alongside format creator Rajiv Lakshman, and produced by BARD, this competition revolutionizes the traditional talent show.

Instead of waiting in long city-by-city queues, participants audition directly via social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube. The show's core philosophy is simple: the audition is the content, and the casting is the show.

What Are the Prizes and Opportunities?

Contestants who pass the initial digital phase will travel to Mumbai for intensive training, competing head-to-head in weekly episodes and live interactive sessions. The season culminates in a massive on-ground Gala finale attended by Bollywood insiders.

How to Apply for The Big Break 2026

Entries officially opened on 5 August 2026. Because the platform was built for the modern digital generation, the application process is completely online.

To submit your audition:

1. Record a video of your best performance (a monologue, a dance routine, or a song).
