Amoung the sea of artisanal crafts and live music, ClayCo didn’t just set up a stall they created a destination, by blending high concept skincare with an addictive gaming twist, they proved that "clean beauty" doesn't have to be clinical; it can be a total blast. ClayCo didn’t just set up a booth; they created an experience. As someone who has seen countless beauty pop-ups, I can confidently say this was different. It was interactive, it was educational, and above all, it was incredibly fun. Here’s why ClayCo was the undisputed highlight of the double weekend.
Walking into the ClayCo space, the first thing you notice is the intention behind the brand. Founded by Niharika Jhunjhunwala, an LSE alumna with a deep rooted passion for "bottling experiences," ClayCo is built on a beautiful premise: bridging the gap between ancient beauty rituals and modern science.

Speaking to the team (and occasionally spotting Niharika engaging with the crowd), you realize this isn't just about "selling cream." It’s about "Rituals of the World." Their vision is to take time tested secrets like the fermentation processes of Japan or the mineral rich clays of Morocco and refine them for the fast-paced life of a modern Indian consumer. At the Flea, this vision felt tangible. They weren't just pitching products; they were inviting us into a global community of self-care.
As a skincare enthusiast, I’m often skeptical of "natural" brands that lack efficacy. ClayCo, however, is playing a different game. Their formulations are a masterclass in balance.
During the event, I got to test their flagship Rituals of Japan range, and the textures were a revelation. We’re talking about:
Rice & Sake Sleep Mask
High-Performance Actives
Sensorial Bliss
It’s rare to find a brand that prioritizes clinical validation as much as they do the "soul" of the product. Every jar feels like a premium, luxury experience, but at a price point that actually makes sense.
This is where ClayCo truly "won" the Lil Flea. While other stalls were passive, ClayCo turned their booth into a skincare playground. They understood that in the middle of a festival, people want to play.
They gamified the experience in three genius ways:
The 'Glow-Up' Wheel
Ritual Quizzes
Instagrammable Moments
ClayCo’s presence at the Lil Flea Double Weekend was a masterclass in brand building. They proved that you can be serious about science while still being a brand that people actually want to hang out with. You don’t have to wait for the next event to start your ritual.
