Kulfi Collective's Play It Forward Residency Is Down To Its Final Hours

Kulfi Collective is closing the doors on one of its most hands-on programs yet, a five week residency built entirely around learning by building, breaking and prototyping alongside working creative technologists.

What Play It Forward Actually Involves

The Creative Tech Residency, run in collaboration with Maker's Asylum, splits into two stretches, four weeks at the Kulfiverse in Mumbai followed by a week at Maker's Asylum in Goa, where participants turn their ideas into working prototypes. A self paced pre-study phase running from mid-August through September covers CAD, electronics, physical computing and AI before the in-person sessions even begin.

Who It's Looking For

The program is built for a crew of 12, with the collective describing applicants as mad scientists rather than traditional students, aimed at people who want to learn, build and create rather than sit through conventional coursework. Applications closed at noon on August 15, with the full residency running from September 1 through October 7.
