Just when you thought you had finally mastered rizz, skibidi, and delulu, the internet said "lol, absolutely not" and dropped an entirely fresh dictionary.

If your feeds are suddenly full of people talking about being "chalant" or "frame mogged," don't panic. Here is your official breakdown of the newest Gen Z terms and what they actually mean.

The New Gen Z Slang Dictionary

1. 404 Coded

Meaning: Clueless, mentally checked out, or utterly incapable of processing what is happening around them. The term is derived from the classic web browser error "404 Not Found." In a sentence: "I asked him to explain the project and he just stared at me... totally 404 coded."

2. Chalance

Meaning: The deliberate act of showing effort, genuine care, and emotional availability. It is the official antidote to being "nonchalant." It's trending because Gen Z is officially over playing it cool in relationships — caring is cool again.

3. Frame Mogging

Meaning: When one person's physical stature or muscular build completely outshines or shrinks the person standing next to them. It's a sub-variant of "mogging" (dominating someone visually or physically).

4. Deep Dating

Meaning: Skipping superficial small talk on first dates in favor of deep, vulnerable conversations about childhood, values, emotional triggers, and core personality traits.

5. Jestermaxxing

Meaning: Intentionally acting goofy, chaotic, and ridiculously funny to win people over instead of trying to play the brooding, mysterious type.

6. Friendfluence

Meaning: The total control and influence a friend group holds over someone's romantic life, from vetting dating app matches to approving a partner.

Gen Z didn't just create new slang; they created specific labels for human behaviors we didn't even realize needed names.
