Almost exactly a year after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, Charlie Harper opens in US theatres today through Row K. It is a small, grounded romance about two young people who discover that moving somewhere new together does not mean growing in the same direction.

Harper, played by CODA star Emilia Jones, and Charlie, played by Nick Robinson (Love, Simon), leave their old lives behind to start fresh in a new city. Harper throws herself into a culinary career, while Charlie struggles to find his footing. As their paths start to split, the relationship they planned for begins to strain.
The Team Behind It
The film is co-directed by Tom Dean and Mac Eldridge, with Dean writing the screenplay. Temple Hill Entertainment produces, with a team that includes Wyck Godfrey, Isaac Klausner and Patrick Wachsberger.
