With 16 days left until Awarapan 2 hits theatres, Vishesh Films has unveiled a new motion poster bringing back one of the franchise's most iconic musical threads — Tera Mera Rishta — alongside a gritty new look at Emraan Hashmi reprising his role as Shivam Pandit.

Tera Mera Rishta Returns, With the Original Voice Behind It

For anyone who grew up on the original Awarapan, Tera Mera Rishta isn't just a song title — it's practically shorthand for the film's entire emotional core. That's exactly why it matters that Sayeed Quadri, the lyricist who wrote those words the first time around, has returned to pen this new chapter. It signals something the makers have been careful to point out: Awarapan 2 isn't a remake. It's a continuation.

Composer Mithoon joins Quadri on this track, bringing the same kind of emotional heft he's known for. On vocals is Subodhh Sharma, marking his third song for the film and cementing his place as the voice of Shivam Pandit in this new instalment.
