Amid Back-to-Back Film Releases, Akshay Oberoi Embarks on a Family World Tour says “This Is My Calm Before the Chaos"
Actor Akshay Oberoi is taking advantage of a brief lull in his busy schedule before diving into a fast-paced second half of 2026. With several high-profile projects set to drop after July, the actor has chosen to step back for a month-long, global family vacation—an experience he describes as his “calm before the chaos.”

Well-known for balancing his demanding acting career with his passion for family and travel, Akshay has put together an ambitious June itinerary. His travels with his family will take them across the globe to destinations like London, Paris, Ghana, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, along with several other international cities.
Akshay has a busy lineup of releases on the horizon, including Toxic, a project with Manoj Bajpayee (previously titled Ghooskhor Pandat), King, and Two Zero One Four co-starring Jackie Shroff. He emphasized that this getaway is especially meaningful as it lets him dedicate focused, quality time to his son before intense promotional tours and shoot
schedules resume.
“The second half of 2026 is going to be extremely hectic for me with all my films releasing one after another, so I consciously wanted to take this time out with my family,” Oberoi shared. “This trip is honestly my calm before the chaos. As actors, we are constantly moving from one set to another... but rarely do we get to travel with no agenda except making memories with the people we love. My son is growing up so fast and I don’t want to miss these moments with him.”

For Akshay, traveling isn't just a break—it's a way to recharge.
“Travel has always been deeply therapeutic for me,” he added. “I love exploring new cultures, meeting people, trying local food, walking around unknown streets and just absorbing experiences. This world tour is also a bucket-list journey for me because some of these places have been on my travel wishlist for years. Once July begins, it’s going to be non-stop promotions, shoots and releases, so I wanted June to be about family, discovery and living in the moment.”
