The Juhu Firing Incident: What Happened?
The meeting follows a terrifying ordeal for the 36-year-old actor. On the evening of October 18, 2026, gunshots were fired at Shroff's vehicle in Mumbai's Juhu area while he was returning home after playing football.
While the actor managed to escape the attack without gunshot wounds, his driver sustained injuries during the incident and was taken to Nanavati Hospital for medical attention. The incident sent shockwaves through the film industry, particularly after individuals claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang purportedly took responsibility for the attack via social media and voice notes.
Latest Investigation Updates
The Mumbai Police have actively been investigating the shooting, forming 15 teams to trace the assailants and establishing their escape routes using CCTV footage.
In a significant recent development, Mumbai Police successfully took custody of three suspects who were arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the attack on Shroff's car. A local court granted the police a 48-hour transit remand, allowing the Maharashtra Police team to transport the accused to Mumbai for further, detailed interrogation regarding their motives and any potential gang connections.
